JENNIE'S NEWSLETTER
May, 2011

Greetings from Australia to all my gorgeous readers.

It’s Autumn here in Australia and I’ve been polishing up my music play lists, admiring beautiful Aboriginal artworks, and of course . . . writing Harlequin Romances.

Books!

What’s a Housekeeper to Do? hits the shelves in the USA in May.

The story is set in Adelaide, a beautiful South Australian city not far from Kangaroo Island and an array of beautiful coastal beaches. In this story I took the opportunity to explore the driven aspects of a man suffering from long-term insomnia. Lally and Cam’s story also gave me a chance to remake my heroine, from the shoes up. Which of us wouldn’t like that thrilling transformation, especially when it comes hand in hand with a gorgeous man?

Speaking Engagements!

August 2011 is Romance Writer’s of Australia’s annual conference where I will be presenting a joint tutorial with Valerie Parv on the art of story layering. Valerie and I are planning a great tutorial for our attendees. Are you ready to start peeling the onion without tears? Register here

In March 2011 the Leeton Writer’s Group heard about writing romance novels as a career path.

Many thanks to this lovely bunch of people for welcoming me so nicely

(that’s me in the middle between President Natalie Hopwood and Secretary David Boyd).
