about
JENNIE

Jennie Adams is a Waldenbooks bestseller and Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award winner, workshop presenter and guest speaker. Her Harlequin and Mills & Boon Romance novels are in print around the world in English and other languages. Jennie’s articles, short stories and childrens stories appear in magazines in Australia and internationally. One of Jennie's recent pleasures is her chapter in the Valerie Parv how-to book Heart and Craft .

With a unique Australian voice, Jennie writes tales of deep emotion in the context of modern relationships. Jennie draws her inspiration from a diverse family tree and a menagerie of wonderful friends and acquaintances, from the music she loves, and from the endless art of people gazing.

When she's not at her desk writing with a hot drink or zero cola at her elbow, you’ll find Jennie out with friends, relaxing with family, being pulled about the walking tracks by a highly enthusiastic canine, sewing for pleasure, or enjoying favourite TV cooking shows.

Jennie's passion is Aboriginal art. She has the pleasure of working with one of the Wiradjuri tribe's premier artists. In upcoming months Jennie will be undergoing Aboriginal cultural studies and speaking with curators handling beautiful Aboriginal artworks from language groups across Australia.

For release in 2011 in May, USA readers will find What's a Housekeeper To Do? in stores. Surprise: Outback Proposal hits the shelves in the USA in October 2011.

This year Jennie will be writing three new novels for Harlequin Romance. The cork boards are covered with pieces of paper marked with coloured highlighter pens, the loved ones are shoring up to deal with toasted sandwiches when they have to. And the pup knows if she hears the word 'ball', it's time for a think break out in the fresh air!

Watch for Jennie's novel and short story release list on her Home Page throughout the year.
